“it takes strength to admit weakness”
A personal sketch done out of a burst of emotions. Admit it, it is not easy to share your weaknesses. There’s a lot to think about especially when you grow up. You are more worried about what people might think of you, especially in the professional field. You want to appear tough and strong and that there is nothing difficult enough to put you down, and yet you cry in the washroom because you had to put everything that bothered you aside. But my friends, admitting you have a weakness doesn’t mean it’ll get in the way of you achieving what you set out to do. We learn and get tougher everyday. As long as we keep fighting and trying, we’ll get to where we want to be. It’s okay to cry, we are only human.
There is beauty in everyone and everything in this world. Everyone is beautiful in their own way. Everyone has an interesting story of their own. It’s just a matter of who the appreciator is, and how long he/she stays to learn, and to understand, to see the true beauty within.
I’ve always believed there’s someone for everyone, and not everyone is attracted to the same things. Everyone’s got the right to choose what they like to do, how they want to live their life, whom they should love. Hence, never doubt your beauty or loose faith in yourself or the path you choose. You’re here for a purpose be it big or small, everyone’s role is important for this world to be balanced and beautiful. And someone appreciates you for it, you just might not realise it.
Drawing with ball point pen on a6 paper. It’s been a while. I love the simplicity of black and white, and shading the details in gradually. I enjoyed this piece a lot, I enjoyed the message it carries even more.
Happy labour day and long weekend loves!

The beautiful Daenerys Targaryen from the Game of Thrones. Amazing clear blue eyes and silver hair. Love her spirit. Been watching the show while doing artwork, and this was drawn with watercolor and 0.05 pen while waiting for a canvas painting to dry.

I have a dear friend who dives very very deep depths for a living. This was Soozie Q. A great creature that he still respects even though its a threat to him and his mates.
This is actually a horrible sketch where everything went wrong with the pencil shading that I had to bring in the charcoal and pen to sort of ‘rescue’ it. Whichhh turned out… um, turned into… well, something some friends now call ‘my style’. lol.
A ball point pen A5 sketch of where I go to 3-4 times a week after work! The Gym Box, first mixed martial arts gym in Kuching, Sarawak. They import trainers from around the world to coach the MMA, Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu, and Boxing classes. They also have a full range of gym facilities and offer a wide range of classes apart from the Fight Club like Zumba, Yoga, Pilates, TRX, Body Pump, Body Combat, Hip Hop, and so on. Check out their Facebook Page for more info. Picked up Muay Thai and MMA here and got my overall fitness back on track. Quite glad to have joined.
It’s the last quarter of 2013, been through tons of changes this year and accomplished a few things. Life’s all good now but there’s one major thing left on my list to do, apart from posting a hundred drawings this year (till this current post there’s only 56). Three more months to go to achieve them! Have you all done what you’ve all set out to do this year?
