Last year I designed the Borneo Savages T-Shirt for The Gym Box, Kuching. It was great fun to design this metalic Borneo Tribal Mask that was based on the Sarawak’s Tree of Life pattern.

I’m also extremely proud that my Mixed Martial Art trainers from Canada, Lenny the Show Stealer, and Jeremy DiChiara wore the shirt at their fights and had some amazing wins. I miss training with them, hope to see one of their fights one day!
Here’s me in my shirt 😀

Fashion Illustration: Neon
I was in Singapore last weekend and it seems boutiques are stocking up on neon colors! Although neon colors obviously scream for attention, pairing them with whites or blacks can give the color  quite a chic look.
Out of my O.P.I. and China Glaze nail polish haul that weekend, I so extremely regret not getting the neon yellow China Glaze nail polish. 🙁
Happy shopping 😀

Hello again, here’s a second entry for the Nuffnang Credit Card Design Contest!

This time’s design is more abstract and even more bright and colorful, to bring life to the card as as youths, we should be all bright, energetic and imaginative. The background of all the colors is a more serious shade of grey, symbolizing the realistic world ahead. Despite the dullnes of reality, as youths, we have the power to bring new inspiration to lighten and make the future a better, brighter place!

The colorful shapes represent youths, and items that we need while we’re growing up, from bicycles and books, to laptops and all the things we need till we graduate from university and head towards our bright futures!

The name of the card is UrbanKard from URBank!

“It’s U,U,U, you are holding!
                                             URBank’s UrbanKard for UrbanKids!”
Here’s my entry for Nuffnang’s Youth Credit Card Design Contest!
I used bright colors on the design because as a youth myself, I’d love an energetic card with a pop of color to stand out from all the other cards in my wallet! I’ve also always loved the unexpected eye-catching creativity and context of graffiti art done by youths in cities, that I just had to use it as the design concept!
The items on the card shows some things that youths need in our lives as we grow up. The youth credit card is a great companion and support for us to purchase things we need to do things we love and nurture these interests while we are still young and have the time to. As long as we handle the card with ‘care’, of course.
Name of the bank is URBANK, UR BANK for URBAN K-ids, geddit? geddit? Nevermind. And the card’s awesome name will be………………..
URBAN Kard! Makes a good tag line, no?
“UR BANK’s URBAN Kard for URBAN Kids!”
Hope you guys like it. 🙂
